Lego Darth Vader Key Chain Has A Led Light In its Foot

So yeah, Lord Vader has got a lamp on his foot. Oh wait, make that feet. Both of them got the sparkly stuff. Odd placement but keep in mind this is a Lego miniature. Dubbed a Mini Torch (emphasis on mini), this Darth Vader incarnation can’t do much else besides a minute amount of illumination. Oh yeah, maybe it can hold a couple of Lego lightsabers, but other than that, nada.

Airdrop Irrigation Turns Air To Water (Video)

Being an inventor rocks. No surprise that Edward Linacre is probably feeling great right now. Not only is he $14,000 richer thanks to acing the 2011 Dyson Award, but his little device could change the world. Airdrop Irrigation is a clever contraption that collects condensation, humidifies it, and collects the resulting moisture in a small underground tank. Real simple stuff indeed. The ebst part is it works. Linacre field tested it in his mom’s house.

Sportiiis Projects An HUD Onto Your Sunglasses

That’s no typo. It’s really spelled Sportiiis. Yup, with a lot of iiiiiisss. But hold on, because this is one impressive gadget. Too bad it can’t be sued for gaming. See, the health uber-conscious part of the population has a tendency to sport cool eyewear. What the Sportiiis does is use a series of LED bulbs to inform the wearer of health stats. Neat, huh?

First Gen iPod Nano Recalled Globally

Listen up iPod Nano owners, here’s the score. Apple issued a bad batch of first generation Nano’s in late 2005. Now, after so many years, they’ve realized how bad it actually is. Or should it be was? Grammar is confounding! Anyway, in a gesture of corporate responsibility a global recall is now ongoing.  The problem is the stricken batch could be harboring batteries that go up in flames.

Party Hub Blacktop 360 Fryer Cooks Pretty Much Anything

For some bizarre reason, cooking appliances have the bad habit of making it on this site. It’s cool though, since as of late, so many cooking appliances have arrived armed with really neat features. Guilty of the same is the Blacktop 360, a novel saucer shaped four-legged frying and deep frying marvel. It’s actually the Blacktop 360 HFI Premium Party Hub Grill. That’s too long, so let it stick at Blacktop 360.

Suzuki Outs Colorful Compact Car Concept For Hipsters

Okay, so maybe consigning it to the hipster crowd is a little cruel. Can’t be helped though, just look at those colors! Also, it’s a compact car! Exclamation points aside, Suzuki seem proud enough to tout their latest non-creation to the press. See, the way the trend is going now, every major automaker is preparing to unleash small compact cars to flood city streets. Better kiss that guzzling SUV goodbye then.

Oops! Russian Mars Probe Caught In Epic Fail

The bad part is the epic failure transpired in low orbit. To think everything went down (or should it be up) smoothly on Wednesday when a rocket lifted off at Baikonur. The problem is the moment the probe was supposed to enter its designated orbit on its long Martian journey, well, zip. Nada. Turns out the boosters wouldn’t activate.

Robot Polar Bear Pillow Soothes Obnoxious Snorers (Video)

Only the Japanese are ingenious enough to wrap a really smart gadget inside a cute polar bear. It’s called Jukusui-kun, which means deep sleeper. What it does is adjust a person’s sleeping position to keep them from snoring. The magic is one of its paws moves to the sleeper’s head and tickles it. Sort of annoying, but apparently it works. Just check out the video after the jump.

If you want, a “luxury” smartphone and the looks and style are more important to you than the hardware inside the device the Verzo Kinzo might be just the device you need. Although Jon Briggs didn’t record the his voice for Apple, it was a company called Scansoft, which he recorded over 5,000 phrases for over a three week period, and the  phrases were then used by Siri, which was taken over by Apple.

Digimo Camera Concept

As you can tell by the headline, this is a concept camera. The Digimo has three cool features, and even one would be enough to sell it on the existing camera market.
The first is that it can split in two. This comes in handy for situations where you need to take a picture of something remotely. You can even see a picture of what you are taking, as there is an LCD on both halves.
The second feature is that it can do 3D pictures. As you might know, 3D pictures are taken with two different camera lenses. When both halves are put together, this camera can get you the 3D pics that you want, if you are into that type of thing.
The third feature is that the Digimo is very modular. It has an extendable telescopic leg that can reach up to 50 centimeters, and you can see the ball and socket connectors that can stand one half of the camera at an angle.

The IRIS 9000 lets you talk to Siri like HAL

I am sure that by now you have heard about Siri, a feature on the iPhone 4S. I haven’t had a chance to try it out, but I believe that you should be able to ask Siri a question, and you’ll get an answer.
Yes, the age of conversing with computers has finally come. It was shown to us in films like2001: A Space Odyssey with the HAL 9000, and is now a reality. Granted, it is the year 2011, but ten years late is better than never.
If you go to ThinkGeek right now, you can check out the IRIS 9000, which allows you to use Siri from a distance. (Iris is Siri spelled backwards.) You can use the IRIS 9000 as a standard spearkerphone to make and receive calls, and an included micro remote triggers Siri with the press of a button.

All that is required is to attach the sensor clip to the side, and you have two drums that you can play with. The second includes the pad on the unit itself.
The WAVEDRUM Mini has 100 ready-to-play sounds that range from acoustic tones to synthetic sounds, and it also has the same amount of rhythm patterns. The user also can select any effect and enhance any sound with 10 preset audio effects.
