Xbox TV will be home for Christmas

Xbox TV, a service that apparently is intended to be a strong competitor of Google TV and Apple TV, will be launched at the end of this year for users of the grey box.  It will include a streaming feature with the regular programs of your TV and, besides, picked out (on-demand) videos for your entertainment (hmmm… it looks like Netflix has another competitor, too). The service will use Bing and Kinect voice commands to facilitate searching for content.

Could someone please get me a working Portico, please?

When it comes to applications on tablets, developers really have to think outside the box in order to create the next addictive thing. Right now, Microsoft Research, Intel, and the University of Washington are working on the Portico, which allows the user to interact with the world outside of the tablet.
You can watch a video after the jump if you want to see a demonstration, and I highly suggest that you will. You will notice how two simple webcams can allow a stencil of a spaceship to blast asteroids on the screen. In addition to this game, Portico can also allow the player to roll a real soccer ball the size of a golf bar in order to try and get it past a virtual goalie.

The eleMMent RV is luxury in a sexy odd shape

Just to let you know, the wheels of this eleMMent RV do not fold up, and it does not fly.
Yes, it looks like this craft is from the future, but this 40-foot vehicle is so now. It has 500 square feet of usable area, a master bedroom with a 40-inch flatscreen, and a couch and a table that can transform to a bar and lounge.
Still not sold on it? How’s 500 horsepower, plus a fireplace, along with a pop-up sky lounge and fog machine strike you? Did I mention that the paint glows in the dark? Yeah, this is probably the big band’s ride on tour, and roadies are not allowed on board.

The new Gamer Scorpius series will rely on a combination of AMD’s new FX CPU, Socket AM3+ (900 series chipset motherboard), and AMD Radeon HD 6000 graphics that is said to deliver more than 50% performance over the previous generation of AMD desktop platforms – all without breaking the bank. Keystone Eco Slider keyboard for iPhone 4S

The iPhone 4S isn’t even out yet in your hands, but that doesn’t mean accessories are lining up and vying for your attention. Concord Keystone knows this, and intends to jostle with the rest of the competition for your attention with their Keystone Eco Slider keyboard that will hook up easily with your iPhone 4S (as well as its predecessor) via Bluetooth connectivity in order for those who have yet to get used to a virtual keyboard to churn out those text messages as well as long winded emails in a flurry.
Pairing it with the iPhone is a snap – all you need to do is press a few buttons, wait for the 4-digit pin to appear on the phone screen, key them in, and voila – you have a working connection! There is no need to install more software to bloat things up, and just like the iPhone, it sports a minimalist look. This 50 key configuration will come in a 2-level sliding case.It won’t suck up juice from your iPhone since it has its own built-in rechargeable battery that can be juiced up via a mini-USB cable. Angry Birds get their own (unofficial) tablet

You know that a particular idea has reached mainstream consciousness when it gets printed and sold in all sorts of places and manner – and Rovio’s Angry Birds certainly embodies such an idea. You have an unofficial Angry Bird park in China, and where else but China can you find an Angry Birds tablet which is obviously powered by Google’s Android operating system.
This is actually based on the latest Wopad V7 tablet that will run on a Cortex A8 processor with a 7″ touchscreen display, boasting the ability to handle 1080p video played from internal memory or from the Web thanks to the use of Adobe Flash. In fact, this tablet will ship with the Angry Birds “Match the Bird” game as well as Angry Birds Seasons pre-installed already, saving you time from downloading it on to the tablet. Other parts of the 4GB of internal memory will also be used to hold different Angry Birds applications and wallpapers.
Other hardware specifications include a front-facing camera, HDMI out, USB connectivity, and 512MB RAM. No idea on pricing though.

You can watch how it works after the jump, and you will see how the user’s fingers set up the keyboard, instead of a user having to find the right keys. You will note in the video how each letter is stated aloud, and how programs can be found audibly.
