Recall the days when getting published is like winning the lottery? You need to be one of those who have proven themselves worthy to get away with that proverbial "poetic license." Or at least can confidently pass work through the carnage of the red ballpen as your editor scribbles the error marks all over it and be left with a bloodied Katay version of what you thought was a prized article.
For that, you need to earn a degree in journalism or literature. If that still doesn't work our for you, your last hope is having enough PR prowess for you to get to know the "who's who" in the industry. Yep, writing could be a tough gig. Now, imagine not having to go through all of that.
Instead, all it takes is for you to simply be in front of the PC - thinking, banging on the keys, writing - and in one click, it's published! How do you do that? Be a blogger! Blog sites continue to grow exponentially, offering potential writers a window for exposure and fame.
This "weblog" revolution is in full throttle and Pinoys are at the forefront of it. Notice the number of local bloggers making a name in the fields of their choice, or topic. What's more, the Pinoy online writer population is rapidly increasing every day. That said, here are just a few Filipino bloggers that's worth your RSS and online time.
