Winamp Android App Updated With Wireless Sync For Mac (video)

Winamp have today rolled out a new update to their Android Winamp application which includes Winamp for Mac bringing wireless music and video sync to Mac users. The new Winamp for Mac Sync beta app is now available to download and brings the same functionality Windows users have enjoyed for some time to Mac systems and is free.

Winamp for Android offers a complete music management solution for devices running Android 2.1 OS & above, bringing wireless desktop sync (Winamp 5.6 required), iTunes library import, & access to thousands of internet radio stations with SHOUTcast.

Twitter Expandable Timeline Quietly Being Tested In The Wild (video)

It has been revealed that Twiiter is currently quietly testing its new “Expandable Timeline” out in the open, as some Twitter users have reported already having access to the new features.

The new Twitter Expandable Timeline has been created to enable users to view media and related information inside the timeline instead of off to the side. Nokia Lumia 800 Goes Up For Pre-Order In The UK

Nokia’s new flagship Windows Phone smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 800,  which was announced earlier today has now gone up for pre-order in the UK, and is available from the Nokia website, with a couple of mobile carriers here in the UK which include Three and Vodafone.

It looks like the versions of the Nokia Lumia 800 available to pre-order from their website at the moment are ones with a contract, there are no details of the SIM free version as yet.

AirCassette Transforms Your iPhone Into a Retro Tape Deck (video)

Samsung Shows Off New 2560 x 1600 Resolution 10.1 Inch Tablet Display

We first heard about Samsung’s new 10.1 inch display back in May, which is a 10.1 inch LCD display designed to be used in tablets and it features a 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution.
Samsung is now showing off this new tablet display at FPD International 2011 in Yokohama Japan which takes place between the 26th and 28th of October, and Samsung plans to put the new 10.1 inch display into production next year.

Steve Jobs Biography iBook Customers Asked To Re-Download, To Correct Formatting Issue

Due to a formatting issue within Apple iBook copies of Steve Jobs Biography, Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. Apple has this morning sent out an email requesting that all customers that have already purchased and downloaded the iBook should delete their copies and re-download a new copy at no extra cost from the iBook store.

A few customers had reported that the pictures were not loading correctly and that the formatting within the pages was out of line, within the iBook edition that was released earlier this week.

Nokia Lumia 800 Official Photos Released

We have already seen some photos of the new Nokia Lumia 800 as well as some videos and now Nokia has released some more photos of their new flagship Windows Phone smartphone.

The photos below give us a good look at the Nokia Lumia 800, and it shares a similar design to the Nokia N9, and looks like one of the best Windows Phone smartphone designs we have seen so far.
